Myprotein Impact Whey Review
We review one of UK’s best selling protein supplements, Impact Whey protein
We all know just how important it is to look after our bodies, eat the foods we should and get the right amounts of exercise we should, in order to look and feel our best, both on the inside and out. Worldwide obesity levels recently peaked at an all-time high, resulting in more and more people deciding that they were fed up of being overweight and making the conscious decision to eat healthier, exercise more frequently, and supplement their routines with top quality products.
Many individuals looking to add lean muscle mass to their frames for example, rely heavily on protein supplements in order to provide their bodies with the nutrients needed in order to grow and repair their bodes at their highest capacities. One protein supplement which has been getting great reviews and feedback, is a whey protein from the supplement company Myprotein, by the name of Impact Whey Protein and it is this product which we’ll be reviewing.
What is Impact Whey?
Impact whey protein is a whey protein powder made from the best quality whey protein concentrate. The only better one available is their Myprotein ISO:PRO supplement. Whey protein is fast digesting and is vital for the growth and repair of muscle tissue. Myprotein are well known for their top quality products at extremely affordable prices, and their impact whey protein is no exception. The protein itself contains an extremely impressive 82 grams of protein per 100 grams, is rich in a number of beneficial minerals and amino-acids (often referred to as the building blocks of muscle tissue), and can be purchased in packs of 5kg, 2.5kg, or simply 1kg.
Full list of ingredients:

Texture and Taste
We tried the chocolate smooth flavour, and mixed with water, this protein is very nice indeed, but mix it with milk and it is simply superb. Myprotein are consistently adding to their range of flavours and you can buy the Impact Whey Protein in over a staggering 25 flavours! Including banana, chocolate mint, chocolate nut, lemon cheesecake, strawberry cream, summer fruits and many others. The only downside about having so many flavours however, is that it is hard to find one and stick to one you like.
Results
As with all whey protein supplements, the most important time to consume it, is immediately following your workout. We mixed a scoop with around 280ml of water and found it mixed completely free of lumps using the Myprotein Blender Bottle. A vital accessory for anyone who hates lumps in their protein shakes! The protein itself mixes very well, you could probably get away with simply giving it a stir with a fork however for best results however, we recommend using a shaker. Always drink your post workout shakes with water, as this allows the natural ingredients to be absorbed into your bloodstream much quicker than milk which some say is slow digesting. You could also drink this before bed but this time mixed with milk. The slower digesting milk will help supply your body with a steady stream of nutrients throughout the night. We found it helped us with recovery after difficult workouts and we could use the supplement to meet our daily protein requirement. Long term use of the supplement along with with weight resistance exercises, will lead to adding muscle providing you have met your protein requirements.
You can also purchase the Impact Whey Protein as part of a bundle from Myprotein, which they have named the Lean Essentials Bundle. With this bundle, along with the Impact Whey Protein you will receive Creatine Monohydrate, Thermopure and Daily Vitamins which coupled with strength training, could help you add lean muscle mass while the Thermopure can help deal with excess body fat.
Final Words
Myprotein have been making affordable and effective health supplements for a number of years now and their Impact Whey Protein has to be one of best supplements that they offer. Over 5000 positive reviews on the Myprotein website, from buyers of Impact Whey Protein can’t be wrong! The taste is superb, the amino acids and protein content is of the highest quality, and the price is very competitive for a supplement of this quality.
